About Ofqual:  The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) regulates qualifications, examinations and assessments in England. A non-ministerial government department with jurisdiction in England.  Ofqual is independent of government and report directly to Parliament. Any approved Level 4 and Level 5 qualifications from Ofqual are equivalent to Higher National Certificates (HNC) and Higher National Diploma (HND) or Year 1 and Year 2 of a three-year UK Bachelor degree programme. 

Entry Requirements
For entry onto the Level 4 and Level 5 Diploma in Information Technology qualification, learners must possess:

  • Relevant NQF/QCF/RQF Level 3 Award/Diploma or at the level of Plus 2 or GCE/GCSE or equivalent qualification.
  • Mature learners (over 24-55) with management experience or supervisory roles (learners must contact us to discuss past commercial experience prior to registering for the programme).
  • Learner must be 18 years or older at the beginning of the course

English requirements: Learner must demonstrate evidence of English language competency.
