The Undergraduate University 1st and 2nd year – Level 4 and 5 IT and Networking Diploma is designed to fast-track students to the final year of an associated undergraduate degree in IT and Networking. This final year can be completed at a UK university on campus or via distance learning.
Our online Level 4 Diploma in IT and Computing and Level 5 Diploma in IT and Networking is a 240-credit qualification. It includes 10 modules and written assignments at Level 4, and 6 modules and written assignments at Level 5. The course is designed to equip you with the skills needed to top up to a full undergraduate degree and pursue a career as a network and infrastructure professional within the IT sector. Throughout the course, students will have access to a variety of support services, including Tutor Support and Webinars, a Social Learning Forum, and additional materials to aid in the completion of their Diploma course.
Successful completion of the full Level 4 and 5 Extended IT & Networking Diploma and final year of an accredited undergraduate degree program will provide students with the right credentials to pursue a career in IT & Networking within the public or private sector.

This unit aims to provide learners with the basic concepts and principles of ASP.NET programming using C#. This will enable learners to understand how to create dynamic web pages using server side programming techniques.
This unit aims to provide the knowledge needed to administer a system in both Linux and Windows environments. Topics covered include user and group management, file system management, task automation, shell scripting, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) servers, mail servers, domain name servers, file and printer sharing, basic utilities and tools, application management, registry, local and group policies, backup policies, restore policies, and performance tuning. This unit aims to deliver the knowledge needed to carry out switching and routing. It covers how to set up and configure routers and switches to interconnect a multi-area network. The unit includes computer network routing and switching, covering Router Information Protocol (RIP), Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), and Open Shortest Path First (OSPF).
