The Level 4 (Diploma in Accounting & Finance) and Level 5 (Diploma in Business Management) constitute a 240-credit course designed to fast-track students to the final year of an associated undergraduate degree in Accounting and Finance. This can be completed either at a UK university campus or through distance learning.
The Level 4 modules and assignments of this course are equivalent to those of the first year of a university degree. Similarly, the Level 5 modules and assignments are equivalent to those of the second year of a university degree.
This course comprises 10 Level 4 modules (120 credits) and 10 Level 5 modules (120 credits), with each level also incorporating 6 written assignments. Should a student choose to study solely at Level 4, they will attain 120 credits and are eligible to apply for an exemption from the first year of a university degree course.
Each module encompasses approximately 40 guided learning hours of material, supplemented by an additional 30-50 hours of optional learning material. These resources include recommended exercises, readings, and internet resources aimed at enhancing the learning experience.
Successful completion of the undergraduate Level 4 (Accounting and Finance) and Level 5 (Extended Diploma in Management), followed by the final year of an accredited undergraduate degree program, equips students with the necessary credentials to pursue employment opportunities in marketing, accounting, human resources, management, or business consultancy.
