The Undergraduate Business Management University 1st and 2nd year – Level 4 and 5 Extended Diploma in Management is designed to accelerate students’ progression to the final year of an associated undergraduate degree in Business and Management. This final year can be completed either at a UK university campus or through distance learning.
This course comprises 10 Level 4 modules (120 credits) and 10 Level 5 modules (120 credits), with each level also featuring 8 written assignments. If a student chooses to study only at Level 4, they will receive 120 credits and may apply for an exemption from the first year of a university degree course.
Each module consists of approximately 40 guided learning hours of material, accompanied by an additional 30-50 hours of optional learning material. These materials include recommended exercises, readings, and internet resources. Throughout the course, students will have access to various support services, such as tutor support and webinars, a social learning forum, and supplementary materials to aid in the completion of their Diploma course.
Successful completion of the full Level 4 and 5 Extended Diploma in Business Management, along with the final year of an accredited undergraduate degree program, provides students with the necessary credentials to pursue various career opportunities. These may include roles such as Human Resource Consultant, Business Development Manager, Marketing/Brand Manager, Business Analyst, or Recruitment Consultant.

Entry Requirements
For entry onto the Level 4 and Level 5 Extended Diploma in Business Management qualification, learners must possess:
- Relevant NQF/QCF/RQF Level 3 Award/Diploma or at the level of GCE/GCSE/ Plus 2 or equivalent qualification
- Mature learners (over 24-55) with management experience (learners must contact us to discuss past commercial experience prior to registering for the programme)
- Learner must be 18 years or older at the beginning of the course
